  I keep meaning to stop and talk with Poppys Bergin but I always see him from the opposite side of Germantown Pike and my choices are: try to turn around somewhere or jump out of my car and run across the street. Both options seem less than perfect. Turning around might do the job, but I could also lose track of him because of all of the traffic. The latter option might scare him off, and I don’t think that’s the best way to land an exclusive interview. I’m bound to run into him eventually on the same side of the street.

  Speaking of the 80′s how about Bunky’s BBQ!  That eyesore had to sit there for what felt like decades before they put Buca in.  There was definitely something wrong with the plot of land, which might explain the giant drainage ditch that now sits between it and the other shopping center.  Opposite that corner was a sweet Hess station that is now an AT&T store.
